JOURNEY OF RTFI
The Ring Tennis Federation of India (RTFI) was formed in July 2024 with a vision to align Indian Ring Tennis with international standards and empower players to compete globally.
Within a short time, RTFI gained recognition from the South Asian, Asian, and International Federations, establishing India as a key player in the sport’s international growth.

Conducted by Secretary General Mr KRV Shyam Sunder, this workshop prepared players and officials ahead of the first Nationals.
22nd–25th Dec 2024
1st Sub-Junior Nationals, Varanasi
Hosted by the Uttar Pradesh Association, this marked the Federation’s first official championship.
1st–4th Sept 2025
2nd Sub-Junior & 1st Senior Nationals, Lucknow
A landmark event at KD Singh Babu Stadium with record participation and cross-border dialogue with Nepal and Sri Lanka.
2nd Sept 2025
2nd AGM, Lucknow
New office bearers elected for 2025–2028, laying a strong governance foundation.
